How it works

Three steps from fine print to
a clear answer.

01

Add your documents

Upload your policy schedule, wording and any endorsements as PDFs. Car, home, portable possessions and more.

02

See a checked summary

Your insurer, plan, premium, what you're covered for and your excesses. Each value is checked against your PDFs.

03

Ask before you claim

Ask in plain language. Answers quote your policy with the page number, so you can check them yourself.

People ask things like
What's my windscreen excess? How soon must I report a claim? Is my phone covered away from home? What isn't covered?

Privacy

Your policy holds personal details. We treat it that way.

Only you can open your files

Documents are stored privately and encrypted. Passwords for locked PDFs are never saved.

Processed by Claude

To answer questions, document text is sent to Anthropic in the United States. It isn't used to train AI models.

Identifiers removed

ID and bank account numbers are removed before analysis. They're not needed to explain your cover.

Delete anytime

Remove a document, a policy or your whole account from inside the app.

For brokers and advisers

FAQ

Questions

Which insurers does it work with?

Any South African insurer, as long as your documents are text PDFs (the kind you can select text in). Scanned documents aren't supported yet.

Is this financial or insurance advice?

No. Signal Cover explains what your documents say and shows the relevant page. Confirm with your insurer or broker before you claim or change cover.

What does it cost?

Signal Cover is free during the beta.

What if the answer isn't in my documents?

We say so. Ask your insurer or broker about anything your documents don't answer.

Is it available on Android?

We're starting with iPhone. Android is not available in this beta.
